Nordés Ancín has elaborated a Practical Guide of the REAL DECREE 736/2020 by which the accounting of individual consumptions in thermal installations of buildings is regulated.
The Council of Ministers has approved the Royal Decree 736/2020, of August 4th, which regulates the installation of individual meters in buildings with central heating and cooling systems.
The regulation is approved in compliance with European Union (EU) regulations establishing the obligation of end users of heating and cooling systems to install individual meters, provided that it is technically feasible and economically profitable, so that the end user can know and optimize their actual energy consumption.
Its application will result in a lower energy expenditure in homes, with an estimated average saving of 24%, increasing the autonomy of users to decide how to optimize their consumption and improve the comfort of their homes.
