Resolución de 2 de septiembre de 2016, de la Dirección General de Industria y de la Pequeña y Mediana Empresa, por la que se amplía la relación de refrigerantes autorizados por el Reglamento de seguridad para instalaciones frigoríficas.
El apartado 4 de la Instrucción IF-02. Clasificación de refrigerantes, aprobada por el Real Decreto 138/2011, de 4 de febrero, por el que se aprueba el Reglamento de seguridad para instalaciones frigoríficas y sus instrucciones técnicas complementarias, habilita al Ministerio de Industria, Turismo y Comercio, actualmente, Ministerio de Industria, Energía y Turismo para autorizar, a petición de parte interesada, la utilización de otros refrigerantes o mezclas, no incluidas en el apéndice 1, previa determinación de cuantas características de prueba y uso sean precisas según lo requerido en las prescripciones establecidas en el Reglamento de seguridad para instalaciones frigoríficas y sus instrucciones técnicas complementarias que lo desarrollan.
La Asociación de Empresas de Frío y sus Tecnologías ha solicitado la ampliación de la relación de refrigerantes autorizados por el Reglamento de instalaciones frigoríficas, con la inclusión de los refrigerantes de nombres comerciales: Pure Green Gas, sin denominación simbólica alfanumérica y Gritene ICT 11, sin denominación simbólica alfanumérica. Con las solicitudes aportan las acreditaciones de los productos mediante las tablas con las características termodinámicas, propiedades químicas y físicas, las fichas de datos de seguridad y certificados de los productores de los refrigerantes. El refrigerante de nombre comercial Pure Green Gas, es una mezcla ternaria compuesta por un 11% de pentafluoroetano (R-125), 4% de octofluoropropano (R-218) y 85 % de 1, 1, 1, 2 tetrafluoroetano (R-134a). Esta mezcla pertenece al grupo de seguridad L1 (A1/A1), es decir de alta seguridad. El refrigerante de nombre comercial Gritene ICT11 es una mezcla ternaria compuesta por un 21% de difluorometano (R-32), 75% de propileno (R-1270) y 4% de dimetiléter (R-E170). Esta mezcla pertenece al grupo de seguridad L3 (A3/A3), es decir de baja seguridad.
Vista la documentación presentada por el solicitante, se ha resuelto: Ampliar la relación de refrigerantes autorizados por el Reglamento de instalaciones frigoríficas conforme al apéndice 1, tabla A, de la instrucción IF-02, con la inclusión de los refrigerantes compuestos por la mezcla del R-125, R-218 y R-134a y la mezcla R-32, R-1270 y R-E170.
